Delmont, PA–first known as ‘New Salem’ or ‘Salem Crossroads’–is a small suburb 25 miles East of Pittsburgh. The town consists of just 1.1 miles and is home to about 3,000 people.

The town is nestled between the intersection of two major highways: Route 22 and Route 66. Its neighboring towns are New Alexandria, Export, Murrysville and Jeannette.

Delmont was settled in 1814 and formally incorporated in 1833.

Currently, the borough is home to a number of local businesses, a golf club, an ice skating rink, thriving library and boasts a number of events throughout the year.
