The Delmont Pilgrimage, formerly known as Christmas in Salem Crossroads is an interactive spiritual journey through the Christmas Story.  When coming to the pilgrimage you can park at any one of the five churches in Delmont where buses will shuttle between the churches.  Each church has various refreshments and entertainment along with wonderful fellowship for the season.

If you choose, you can also start you journey directly at the historic Shields Farm cabin, conveniently located just across the street from the Delmont Salem Lutheran church.  The pilgrimage is a walking journey through seven live vignettes that portray a different part of the Christmas story.  From the visitation of the Angel Gabriel to Mary, the visitation to Joseph, and Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem and presentation of gifts by the three magi, all are portrayed as they have been for over 45 years in Delmont. The event has become a tradition for many families and is important to keep CHRIST in Christmas.
