Northmoreland National Night Out, August 8, 2018
Join CSAY Northmoreland (Council on Substance Abuse and Youth)* for National Night Out

When:  Tuesday, August 8, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

Where:  Northmoreland Park, 280 Markle Road Apollo, PA 15613, Pavilion # 8.

 Come out and spend an evening with your local emergency services featuring police, fire, and
EMS staff and equipment. Meet community vendors, enjoy free activities, featuring: giveaways, drug prevention awareness, personal safety information, and introducing the band “Safety Last”. Meet the Greensburg Bloodhound team! This is a great night for police-public interaction and camaraderie.

Just a reminder that July’s Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday July 17th at 7:00 PM in the Borough Office.

Recurring Summer Events

Delmont-Salem Farmers Market

Beginning June 2nd, 2018, Delmont’s Farmers Market will now be the Delmont Salem Farmers Market and will be held at the historic Fairview Park in Salem Township on Old William Penn Highway and Rock Springs Road just off of US 22 making this easily accessible to the residents of Delmont, Salem Township, New Alexandria, Export, Murrysville, and Greensburg.

The market will run each Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM until September 2018.

Summer Fridays

Movies in the Park is a FREE and fun family event hosted by the hard working members of the Delmont Recreation Committee each Friday at Newhouse Park (weather permitting). Movies will start at dusk and there are concessions available to purchase.

This summer’s movie schedule will be announced on the Delmont Recreation Committee’s Facebook page (so like us and follow us) and updated here as well.
