The Delmont American Legion is conducting a Rabies Clinic on April 28, 2018 at the Delmont Fire Hall. The clinic will begin at 10:00 am and last until 1:00 PM.

In The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the law requires all dogs AND cats over 3 months of age (12 weeks) to be vaccinated for rabies.
Delmont Borough Cleanup May 4th-5th
Delmont, PA April 18, 2018 – Three forty yard dumpsters will be located at the Delmont Borough Public Works Garage at 30 Bierer Street in Delmont to allow borough residents the opportunity for a spring cleanup. The dumpsters will be open to borough residents during daylight hours May 4thand 5th, you may be asked to provide proof of residency at the collection site. An early pickup service will be offered to the senior citizens within the borough. Delmont Borough public works employees will haul away acceptable items to be deposited in the dumpsters for those that cannot physically participate, call the borough office at (724) 468-4422 to schedule a pickup by May 1st. The collection site will be closed when the dumpsters are filled, please do not overfill the dumpsters or leave trash outside of the dumpsters.
A list of acceptable items are included below:
- Appliances (except those containing Freon unless removal has been certified with the proper tag for air conditioners, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, freezers)
- Regular household trash
- Building materials with the exception of concrete / blocks / bricks
- DRY paint
Unacceptable items include:
- Car parts / tires
- TVs / electronics
- Concrete / blocks / bricks

Delmont-Salem Farmers Market
Beginning June 2nd, 2018, Delmont’s Farmers Market will now be the Delmont Salem Farmers Market and will be held at the historic Fairview Park in Salem Township on Old William Penn Highway and Rock Springs Road just off of US 22 making this easily accessible to the residents of Delmont, Salem Township, New Alexandria, Export, Murrysville, and Greensburg.
The market will run each Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM until September 2018.

Movies in the Park is a FREE and fun family event hosted by the hard working members of the Delmont Recreation Committee each Friday at Newhouse Park (weather permitting). Movies will start at dusk and there are concessions available to purchase.
